Hi. Welcome to the luxury revolution, courtesy of your friends at Lexus. Well, maybe we should give Toyota the real credit here, as they are the geniuses behind the market’s most viable luxury brand in the industry. While Toyota’s focus is on reliable, fuel efficient cars, Lexus is working on its expanding its product offering, but not at the expense of becoming one of the premiere luxury brands to use some seriously fuel efficient technology in their engine systems. Chicago Lexus ES dealers have truly loved watching the evolution of their brand, and the future continues to look bright for Lexus in general.

It seems like the domination of Toyota in the fuel economy space is extending into the luxury market. We’ve seen hybrid engines hit Chicago Lexus RX dealers, and, most recently, we’ve seen the coming launch of the CT200h, which is one of the most innovative luxury cars on the market in terms of fuel efficiency. We have also seen the coming of the LFA supercar, a fantastic, sexy vehicle that represents Toyota’s first go into the supercar space over its entire history. Chicago Lexus ES drivers want to get behind the wheel of one of these cars, which were built from the ground up by Toyota engineers. Toyota lives and dies by the mantra “don’t fix what ain’t broke,” so the company chose to go with in-house engineers to develop the supercar.

Your best chance to see the LFA supercar in action may have already passed. For Chicago Lexus RX drivers, the opportunity might have been hard to attend, but you had the chance to drive to stay in the swing of things. I’m talking about the recent F-Sport event, which took place on April 29 at the New Jersey Motor Park. While attendees had the chance to drive F-series vehicles around the track, the crowning feature of the event was the chance to become Scott Pruett’s co-driver during a spin around the track in the LFA itself. I can name a few Chicago Lexus ES enthusiasts that might have made the trip out in their cars to see that event take place.

Regardless of whether you could have made it or not, the event was an enormous success thanks to the time and effort of many different Lexus enthusiasts and employees. Chicago Lexus RX dealers are huge fans of the new LFA supercar, which was announced at one of the recent auto shows and happens to be a well loved item among a slew of automotive journalists. If you haven’t seen pictures of this fantastic vehicle, then you better do a Google search right now.

Lexus continues to position itself as a visionary in the luxury automotive space, with contenders like BMW and Mercedes lagging behind in the dust. Still, for where the industry was only a couple of years ago, there is a pretty decent amount of competition, especially within the luxury market. Look for Lexus to continue to lead the pack across global auto markets.
