BMW showcased this beauty at the Delhi Auto Expo and made a lot of heads turn in its direction. Apart from gorgeous looks, fantastic performance and next generation features X1 is comparatively low priced. BMW has not announced the price as yet but BMW X1 is expected to fall in the price range of Rs 25 – 30 lakh.

BMW X1 would come in both manual and automatic transmission option in five variants. All the variants would be equipped with the same capacity diesel powered engine. XI would be launched as a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) unit. Two variants of BMW X1 would have 1995cc, 4-Cylinder, 16-Valve, diesel engine capable of producing 143bhp of maximum power at 4000rpm with 320Nm of maximum torque at 1750~2500rpm. Two other variants of BMW X1 will be equipped with the same capacity engine capable of producing 177bhp of maximum power at 4000rpm with 350Nm of maximum torque at 1750~3000rpm. The top most variant of BMW X1 would have the same engine but 204bhp of maximum power at 4400rpm with 400Nm of maximum torque at 2000~2250rpm. BMW X1 is immensely well loved abroad because of its styling, features, performance and advanced features. But its the price that has everyone going ga ga over it!

BMW X1 would be a fully loaded dashing vehicle with fantastic interior and exterior features. The V-shaped alloy wheels, body coloured door handles, chrome finished exhaust pipe, heated and automatic adjustable ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), chrome-line exterior trim, satin aluminium roof rails, etc are some of features that lend this SUV class. The stylish interiors of BMW X1 consist of ambient lighting, front armrest with sliding adjustment, velour floor mats, illuminated glove compartment, illuminated vanity mirrors, satin silver interior trim, etc.

But its not just the looks BMW X1 promises to be a safe car equipped with ABS (Antilock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution), dual front airbags and side ITS head airbags, alarm system with remote control and engine immobilizer, front and rear anti roll bars, central locking, child lock, crash sensor, front and rear fog lamps, halogen headlamps, front and rear seat belts with pre-tensioner and belt force limiter, side impact protection and many more features. Some more X1 info Speculations are high that BMW would launch at least five variants in India but nothing is confirmed. With X1 BMW is trying to cement its position in the luxury car segment and lure more and more buyers with the low price.
